HSP-OSAMURAISAN Guitar Strap

The HSP-OSAMURAISAN Signature Strap Purple Black is a signature guitar strap developed in collaboration between Headway and artist Osamuraisan.

It is made of PVC leather and measures between 1250mm and 1430mm in length, with a maximum width of 63mm.

The design, inspired by the concept “紫陽花は縋り付く” (Hydrangeas cling), is laser-engraved and features delicate artwork by illustrator Shibao.

A signature strap jointly developed by Headway and Osamurai. A design drawn on the concept of "hydrangeas are attached together" is engraved on the laser. The delicate artwork of illustrator Shibao conveys the warmth of hand-drawn images while being contemporary.

Artwork by illustrator Shibao, who specializes in the technique of combining a number of detailed motifs by hand to create a single shape without using a ruler. With hydrangeas, a symbol of "things that cling to something," ivy that looks like an arabesque pattern creeps in. While fusing traditional beauty such as pine patterns with the delicacy of Japanese and contemporary art, it expresses Osamurai's worldview through the warm method of hand-painting.

Osamuraisan

Cherry blossoms fall. Plums spill. Camellia falls. Among the wide variety of Japanese people who decorate the end of the flowers, hydrangeas hardly ever wither. The calyx of hydrangeas, which remain until winter, becomes brown and cloudy, but retains the beautiful shape of the flower. For example, just as a woman wears out and a man works his body, people try to resist old age. That kind of effort in itself seems as beautiful as a hydrangea. The beauty of the strap that maintains the playing posture of the guitar is also visible on the layer.
